This project is a residential development located in Sri Gading, a Malay village in Batu Pahat, consisting of 30 units single storey terrace house. Due to its location, the design of the terrace house units is done with a straightforward approach with an economic budget in mind in order to not put pressure on the local audience and potential buyers.
A modern and minimalistic outlook with streamlined geometry and simple colour palette are proposed to reimage what a country house should look like, while at the same time rejuvenate the local community with brand-new style and elements. The result is a harmonious housing solution that creates dialogue between the old and the new.
